About Plenumos
Why we are building this
Plenumos started from a very ordinary conference problem: Stanisław travels to academic events and kept seeing the same last-minute scramble around slides. Speakers send files by email, versions get mixed up, organizers chase updates, and nobody is fully sure which presentation is the final one.
We want to make a small, practical tool for small and medium-sized events — first for academic conferences and seminars, then possibly for any gathering where people need to collect, update, and share materials without the usual attachment chaos.
Plenumos is built by Stanisław Szufa, a researcher in computational social choice who regularly presents at conferences, and Ignacy Janiszewski, a data engineer who works on data platforms and civic-tech projects. We have already worked together on several projects, including Pabulib, an open library of participatory budgeting data. We are developing Plenumos with support from the KMS entrepreneurship incubator, Kraków Miastem Startupów.
What Plenumos does
Plenumos helps conference organizers collect and share speaker materials — slides, PDFs, and notes — in one tidy place. Speakers upload their files through a personal link; attendees browse and download everything from the conference page.
Speakers upload PDFs and slides. Multiple versions are supported.
Conferences can be public, password-protected, or invite-link only.
